Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Monica is enchanted by capturing memories in a timeless manner. An Oregon State University graduate, Monica is available for hire via her contact page.
Monica is currently based out of Dallas, Oregon.
Born at the turn of the Century, Monica was given her first “point and shoot” camera when she was about 8 years old.
Moving up to a semi-professional camera when she was 13, she never put it down.
In her 13 year journey of photography, Monica has taken several classes from a variety of places, including 4-H and the Masters School of Art.
An Oregon State University graduate, majoring in Human Development and minoring in Photography, Monica has found that no matter her work, she excels in memory documentation.
In 2018, Monica was asked by her older sister to photograph the birth of her first child, Monica’s niece.
It was here Monica truly found her passion in birth photography. Raw and powerful emotions that in the moment, can be lost; she captures them so you can cherish them forever.
